Cyclocross Nationals
———————————————————
Tim Ciarkowski was the lone Hokie to travel to Kansas City, MO for the colliegiate cyclocross race on December 14th. With special thanks to Appalachian State, Tim was able to hitch a ride and compete in the Division I collegiate race.

Tim was awarded a front row call up after winning the DI ACC conference title, but a cold a few days before made his time near the front short lived. “I just didn’t have the legs. Getting a cold was very disappointing because this was suppose to be my big peak of the calender year. This could be the last time I compete in collegiate cyclocross at the national level, since Bend, Oregon is hosting nationals for the next two years. Oh well.” Tim finished 35th out of 64 participants.
