The season of racing wrapped up (sniff sniff) on Sunday with the CRC Criterium, and not without a pink jersey among our ranks. Congratulations to Andy Wentzel on a strong race as he rode into first place, and thanks to him for bringing home our only first place on the season. I hope to have some video of the race edited soon. Below are a few pictures from the road race on Saturday: the C team, the two solo champions, Nick and Mike ready to ride in the pouring rain.
Tonight, we transition to new leadership and the beginning of a new era under president Jacob Aber. Big things to come! (a MTB championship to defend, maybe a road conference championship this year…!?)
A huge thanks to everyone who supported us in this past season, with food at the races (Mr. & Mrs. McAllister, Mr. & Mrs. Aber, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner), and for those who supported us with wonderful places to stay and delicious meals. And congratulations to everyone who rode with us, for riding hard and having fun.
